This Weeks News
COFFEE & CHAT MORNING – In the Village Hall on Tuesday 10th June from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 noon. Everyone welcome, young, old and in between to come along and join in with this regular event – every second Tuesday in the month.
WHIST DRIVES – This month there will be drives on Thursday 12th June at 1.30 p.m. and on Thursday 26th June at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is only £1 and there are refreshments available.
CULWORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL – Would like to thank all who donated bags of clothes etc. for the Bags 2 School recently – it raised £270. If you missed out, don’t worry, there’s another collection in September. The school are also very grateful to those who booked a car boot pitch and those who came along and spent their money – a very successful morning as the sun shone and provided an almost fete-like atmosphere. £430 was raised which will go towards some much needed equipment for the school.
CULWORTH FETE – This year is on Friday 4th July on the Cricket Field. More information to follow, but make a date in your diary.
CHURCH SERVICES – This Sunday 8th June, there will be Bell, Book & Candle at 11.00 a.m. when Alastair Johnston will be coming along to give a talk about the Children’s Society. He will also be receiving your boxes so remember to bring them along if they haven’t been collected already. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our half hour service – we will be serving refreshments afterwards too.
